En mi opinión, la educación a distancia, específicamente a través del Internet, ha satisfecho una de las más crecientes necesidades de los jóvenes profesionales: flexibilidad de tiempo. En estos tiempos, en que todos tenemos múltiples actividades: trabajo, familia, estudios superiores, estudios de idiomas, entre otras, la posibilidad de hacer un post-grado o maestría a distancia, y mas especificamente, a traves del Internet, algo considerado insólito unos 5 años atrás, representa una salvación. Yo pienso que esa es la principal ventaja y al mismo tiempo desventaja del sistema: se tiene mucha flexibilidad de tiempo, excelente, pero uno se puede ‘’perder’’ y decir ‘hoy no puedo, lo hago mañana’, pues, excepto por las fechas de entrega de ejercicios, exámenes y trabajos, no hay la presión de la asistencia a clases. Coincido con todos, por experiencia propia, en que se requiere mucha responsabilidad, hábito de estudio, interés por aprender, motivación, empeño y deseo de superación y crecimiento. Sin estos elementos, algunos innatos, algunos desarrollados gracias al programa, mi participación en MCFI no habría sido lo exitosa que ha sido hasta ahora. Como comenta nuestro compañero Ricardo Echegaray, cada estudiante tiene el destino de sus estudios en sus manos, de cada uno depende el éxito o fracaso, puesto que, a diferencia de la educación tradicional, en este sistema tenemos que internarnos en una profunda búsqueda y segregación de la información. Es cierto, tenemos las conferencias de los profesores, pero al momento de incrementar nuestros conocimientos y abundar esa información tenemos que hacerlo nosotros solos y es por esto que la educación a distancia en red quizás no es vista con buenos ojos, sin embargo, los resultados son iguales o mejores, pues el estudiante es más activo y está más involucrado en su aprendizaje. Estoy de acuerdo con Katarzyna en que las intensas tandas de búsqueda e investigación nos reducen nuestra vida privada a su mínima expresión, pero es esta misma vida privada la que se verá enriquecida al final del programa, así que ánimos y éxitos!

Estoy completamente de acuerdo con Ivette sobre el tema de la flexibilidad que nos da la educación vía internet. Aunque, como dice ella, este tipo de educación puede crear un pequeño “peligro” para los desorganizados. Debo confesar que cuesta ser sistemático al principio, cuando lo único que nos limita son las fechas de entrega de los trabajos y, lo más importante, cuando uno trabaja jornada completa, lo que es mi caso.
Sin embargo, creo que a pesar de algunas dificultades, el método “learning by surfing” es una manera estupenda y comodísima de aprender. Comparando con los métodos tradicionales que dominaron mis estudios superiores, lo encuentro mucho más eficaz y práctico. Es cierto que a veces uno pierde mucho tiempo realizando búsquedas que no siempre dan efectos, pero aprendemos a base de errores y el proceso de aprendizaje es cada vez es más fluido y más fructuoso. Personalmente, he aprendido muchas cosas interesantes durante este primer año del MCFI y he comprobado que la presencia del internet en mis estudios ha sido muy enriquecedora. Nunca antes he estudiado economía o finanzas y simplemente tenía miedo de que fuese muy duro. Bueno, no siempre ha sido fácil, pero, gracias al método de estudios, el aprendizaje ha sido más “activo”, como dice Ivette, y también más “práctico” y “real”. No era un simple (y aburrido) estudiar el “paper”, pasar el examen y, a veces, olvidarse del tema estudiado. Como hemos tenido que trabajar mucho los temas tanto para los exámenes como para los trabajos, éstos se nos quedan más, perduran más en la memoria del estudiante. Todavía quedan 2 años para acabar el ciclo completo del MCFI, pero ya hoy mismo quiero felicitar a los fundadores del Máster por haber elegido el internet como la metodología clave de los estudios, lo que me ha permitido disfrutarlos más, a pesar del esfuerzo dedicado.

A través de la historia la humanidad ha tenido cierto recelo e inclusive miedo a los cambios, en la actualidad la forma de educar está dando un salto muy importante, cada vez es más común que se adopte la tecnología a más universidades de renombre y hoy poco nos sorprende la existencia de cursos virtuales. Por lo tanto es necesario que las mismas escuelas estén preparadas para ello, que los maestros dominen los temas tecnológicos y se olviden muchas veces de los métodos tradicionales en que el alumno perdía mucha información por depender solamente de la opinión del maestro. Poco a poco se ha evolucionado y la gente va entendiendo la nueva forma de educar: el alumno ahora tiene la libertad y la responsabilidad de elegir y de estudiar cada material y de poner más énfasis y más apertura en cada uno de los temas.
La aparición de Internet ha revolucionado la educación a distancia en todos los niveles, tanto que la UNESCO ha manifestado la necesidad de extender las nuevas tecnologías como herramienta de democratización de la educación. De esta forma universidades de todo el mundo han adoptado las nuevas tecnologías sus métodos históricos de enseñanza con resultados muy positivos.
Lo positivo (o negativo) de esta educación virtual es que se le deja la responsabilidad casi total de su educación al alumno, esto a niveles inferiores no creo que sea muy positivo, ya que el alumno todavía no tiene la madurez necesaria para afrontar estas obligaciones. En mi opinión es demasiado pronto para dar el gran salto a la universidad virtual total, aún faltan recursos tecnológicos que no están al alcance económico de todos, creo que por ahora será necesaria una combinación de la enseñanza tradicional con la enseñanza basada en tecnología, así ambas tendrán que complementarse para darle al alumno un punto de apoyo un poco más real en su educación; desde luego sabemos que en algunos años esto estará al alcance de todos, esto apenas está dando sus primeros pasos y definitivamente está por buen camino.

No digamos las grandes ventajas por Internet como la mayoría de nuestros compañeros lo indice. Lo cierto es que el mundo está acercandose cada vez más por gracias al desarrollo de la red, así que no deja lugar a dudas que se puede acceder al ambiente de aprendizaje. por supuesto, estoy de acuerdo con mis compañeros, sobre todo en el punto de la flexibilidad. Creo que lo más importante de aprendizaje por Internet es que se puede profundizar y extender su aprendizaje aprovechando la red. La información necesaria y la nueva información vinculandas al mundo que podemos mirar a través de la red, ¿Hasta dónde demonios se extiende este mundo?? Así, la red nos oferece gran posibilidad y un poco del caos acompañando de la nueva tecnología. Además lo que puede coordinarse su aprendizaje con su propio estillo utilizando la red es un gran atractivo también. Se podría realizar la personalidad de un nivel individual por llevarse la flexibilidad eficientemente, así que hay la posibilidad de que estos factores sirvan gran ayuda para estructuar un entorno más favolable que no podría realizar con el sistema de conferencia hasta hoy. Por consecuencia, se podría sustituir las ventajas mencionadas por la flexibilidad implicando todas cosas ocurridas alreador de una red sobre E-Larning. Se dice que estas manera de aprendizaje floreció en EE.UU, provocó una manera de enseñanza a distancia para reeducación del hombre de negocios en el mercado laboral fluctuado, y otro transfondo es que cada universidad hizo varios tipos de conferencia a distancia como estudio por la vida. Se considera que estos transfondos fueron el cimiento de aprendizaje por la red. Acutualmente se eleva la proporción que lo aprovecha en cursillo de las empresas, es evidente referirse a la racionalidad y la eficiencia, y añadir lo necesario para aceptar su nivel y conocimiento. Esto podría invitar las personas que quieren aprender más a un viaje de la búsqueda fácilmente. es decir, la flexibilidad traido por nueva sistema es muy amable al humano y el tiempo. Al considerar mi caso, el sistema de nuestro curso tiene llena de feliz por esta flexibilidad incluido un monton de sigunificación y me da favor. Si no hubiera sido este forma, serían imposible participar en el curso al frente de un muro de idioma, por lo tanto, Gracias a todos que se permiten la flexibilidad!

En la línea con las intervenciones anteriores que han realizado mis compañeras Margarita e Ivette, me gustaría destacar las facilidades, para combinar un trabajo a tiempo completo que requiere mucha dedicación con las posibilidades de continuar aprendiendo vía internet que ofrece el MCFI. En este sentido, coincido con la posibilidad que existe para amoldar tu aprendizaje a tus intereses y a tu disponibilidad. Pero, ante esta posibilidad, corremos el riesgo de caer en la trampa de no revisar toda la información considerada esencial para lograr un buen conocimiento en materias de comercio exterior. Entre otros motivos, destacaría la amplitud de información que existe en internet y la imposibilidad en ocasiones para discernir si lo que nos están explicando es realmente relevante y correcto. Por ello, considero que las clases presenciales también son un input muy importante en nuestro aprendizaje ya que ofrece la posibilidad de interactuar con los profesores y con el resto de compañeros. El master, ofrece hasta el momento las dos posibilidades, por ello animo a los organizadores de este master a continuar con esta metodología de trabajo ya que el mundo laboral cada vez es más exigente: Debemos estar al día en el uso de internet y de las nuevas tecnologías, así como aprender a buscar nuestra propia información y tener nuestro propio criterio, ya que en el mundo de trabajo actual, cada vez es más importante la propia iniciativa y ser capaces de resolver los problemas por nosotros mismos, internet sin duda es una gran herramienta y que ofrece grandes posibilidades para ayudarnos
